Designates the section of "Old U.S. Route 36" along Morton Avenue in Jacksonville from west of U.S. Route 67 to north of I-72 at Exit 68 as the SSG Matthew Ward Weikert U.S. Army/USMC Memorial Highway.

Honors Staff Sergeant Matthew W. Weikert, born May 15, 1981, a Jacksonville High School graduate who served in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army.

Recognizes Weikert's service including 3 tours in Iraq with the Marines, 1 additional tour with the Army, and deployment to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division.

Memorializes Weikert's death on July 17, 2010, in Paktika Province, Afghanistan, after he was wounded by an improvised explosive device but helped save two other soldiers by radioing their coordinates.

Acknowledges Weikert's numerous military decorations including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Combat Action Badge, and multiple campaign medals for his service in Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
