Designates the portion of Cicero Avenue from West Roosevelt Road to West Grand Avenue in Chicago, Illinois as "Mandela Road" to honor Nelson Mandela's legacy.

Illinois Department of Transportation is requested to erect plaques or signs at 16 specified intersections along Cicero Avenue notifying the public of the road name by July 18, 2015.

Recounts Mandela's 50+ year struggle against apartheid, his life imprisonment beginning in 1964, release in 1990, and election as South Africa's first democratically elected president on May 10, 1994.

Highlights Mandela's post-presidential philanthropic work and his death on December 5, 2013 at age 95.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Illinois Department of Transportation, and the Mandela family.
