Encourages all Illinois school districts to hold assemblies during the week of Veterans' Day for kindergarten through eighth grade students to honor veterans' sacrifices and contributions to the nation.

Recommends that school districts consult with local veterans' groups when planning the content and programs for Veterans' Day assemblies.

Directs that copies of the resolution be distributed to the superintendent of each school district in Illinois to facilitate implementation.
