The resolution urges the Governor and General Assembly to maintain current funding levels to the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs for continued operation of the 4 Illinois Veterans Homes.

Budget decisions may be necessary due to the potential expiration of the 2011 income tax increase requiring the state to maintain fiscal responsibility.
