Illinois House of Representatives recognizes the 2014-2015 State officers of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)

FCCLA is an in-school student organization founded in 1945 that prepares students to be productive family members, wage earners, and community leaders through Family and Consumer Sciences education

State officers are elected through a multi-stage process including local chapter announcements, section-level speeches, state conference presentations, and majority votes by delegates, with 7 officers elected to serve as the State Executive Council

The 2014-2015 FCCLA State Officers recognized are Lauren Becherer (Prospect High School), Clayton Lindley (Mount Pulaski High School), Tarryn Gardner (Knoxville High School), Emily Grebner (Kewanee High School), Katie Spring (R.O.W.V.A. High School), Olivia Hanzel (Liberty High School), and Courtney Pogue (Cisne High School)

Suitable copies of the resolution shall be presented to all seven officers as an expression of esteem and respect
