Illinois House of Representatives mourns the death of Jonathan Gus King of Pittsburg, who died on November 10, 2014.

Jonathan King was born January 2, 1981 in Marion and worked as a carpenter for E.T. Simonds Construction Company in Carbondale and was a member of the carpenter's local union.

He was a co-owner of King Buildings prior to his union carpentry work and enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, coaching, and riding motorcycles.

Jonathan King is survived by his wife Sara, children Madison Lee and Andrew Gus, parents Deanna and Gerald Davis and Rick King, brothers Simon and Phillip King, and extended family members.

The House extends sincere condolences to Jonathan King's family and friends and will present a suitable copy of this resolution to his family.
