Honors Illinois State Representative Jil Tracy for her dedicated service to the state and her retirement from the House of Representatives.

Recognizes Tracy's education from Southern Illinois University and law school (1979), 17 years practicing law in Mt. Sterling, and extensive community service including founding the Brown County United Way and serving on multiple boards.

Notes Tracy's appointment as Illinois Assistant Attorney General and Director of the Attorney General's West Central Regional Office in 1997, serving until 2004 under Attorneys General Jim Ryan and Lisa Madigan.

Acknowledges Tracy's service on the Legislative Ethics Commission and as one of 21 House members selected for the Impeachment Committee that impeached Governor Rod Blagojevich in December 2008.

Recognizes numerous awards received by Tracy including the 2013 Women of Influence Award, Illinois Bankers Association 2012 Outstanding Legislator of the Year, and multiple other legislative and community service awards throughout her career.
