Honors Illinois State Representative Brad Halbrook upon his retirement from the Illinois House of Representatives, where he represented the 110th District comprising Clark, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Edgar, and Lawrence Counties.

Recognizes Halbrook's appointment to the House in April 2012 and his election to a full term in November 2012, along with his service on the Agriculture and Conservation, Appropriations-Higher Education, Biotechnology, Counties and Townships, and Environment Committees.

Acknowledges Halbrook's legislative accomplishments, including passage of transparency and accountability measures for Emergency Telephone System Boards and legislation to create jobs in east-central Illinois through the Wildlife Code.

Credits Halbrook as a small business owner, farmer, former Shelby County Republican Party chairman, and Illinois Beef Association board member who advocated for Second Amendment rights, lower taxes, farmer interests, economic development, and government transparency.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Representative Halbrook as a symbol of respect and esteem.
