Illinois House of Representatives recognizes State Representative Josh Harms for his service to the people of Illinois.

Harms grew up on a family farm in Watseka and graduated from Illinois State University in 1997 and Governors State University with a Master's Degree in 2007.

Harms served in the General Assembly since 2012, supporting pro-business, pro-life, and pro-taxpayer initiatives while serving on Agriculture and Conservation, Appropriations-Higher Education, Business Occupational Licenses, Cities and Villages, Economic Development, Public Safety, and Veterans' Affairs Committees.

Harms is retiring from the Illinois House of Representatives to continue community service in Watseka and spend more time with his two children, Paul and Molly.

House expresses gratitude for Harms' service and will present him with a commemorative copy of the resolution.
