Honors State Representative Maria Antonia "Toni" Berrios for 12 years of service in the Illinois General Assembly.

Recognizes Berrios as the first Puerto Rican-American woman elected to the Illinois House of Representatives in 2002.

Acknowledges her advocacy on minimum wage increases, equal pay for women, marriage equality, and consumer protection issues including work as Chair of the Financial Institutions Committee.

Highlights her community involvement including annual Back to School Fairs providing school supplies, immunizations, and services to families, and her work as first woman Co-chair of the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Rep. Berrios as an expression of respect and esteem.
