Amends Section 2-10.1 of the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 concerning case plans for minors in shelter care.

Makes a technical correction by removing a duplicate word "the" in the statute text.

Requires the Department or a licensed child welfare agency to prepare and file a case plan with the court within 45 days of placing a minor in shelter care under Section 2-10.

Mandates that case plans comply with the federal Adoption Assistance and Child Welfare Act of 1980 and serve the health, safety, and best interests of the minor.

Clarifies that "case plan" and "service plan" have the same meaning for purposes of this Act.
