IL SB1337

Amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act by modifying Section 8.1 concerning notification procedures for criminal case dispositions.

Requires Circuit Clerks to notify the Department of State Police of all final dispositions in cases where the Department received information under Sections 2.1 and 2.2 of the Criminal Identification Act.

Mandates courts to direct circuit court clerks to immediately notify the Department of State Police FOID department upon adjudication of any individual as mentally defective as defined in Section 1.1 or under paragraph (3.5) of subsection (c) of Section 104-26 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.

Requires courts to forward a copy of court orders regarding mental defective adjudications to the Department of State Police.
