IL SB1386

Amends Section 500-25 of the Illinois Insurance Code concerning applications for insurance producer examinations.

Makes a technical correction by removing a duplicative word "an" in subsection (a) describing resident individual applicants for insurance producer licenses.

Maintains existing requirements that applicants pass a written examination, complete both parts within 90 days of each other, and demonstrate knowledge of lines of authority, producer duties, and state insurance laws.

Preserves Director authority to arrange examinations through outside testing services and collect nonrefundable fees as prescribed in Section 500-135.
