Amends Section 1-2 of the School Code (105 ILCS 5/1-2) to make a technical change in the construction provision.

Changes the capitalization of "The" to lowercase "the" at the beginning of the construction clause regarding provisions that are the same as prior statutes.

Clarifies that provisions in the School Code that match prior statute provisions are construed as a continuation rather than a new enactment.

Establishes that references to prior Acts of the General Assembly or their sections that are continued in the School Code shall refer to the provisions as continued in the current Code.
