IL SB1450

Amends Section 3-100 of the Illinois Vehicle Code concerning definitions related to certificates of title and vehicle ownership.

Defines "electronic" to include electrical, digital, magnetic, optical, electromagnetic, or similar technological forms.

Defines "electronic record" as information generated, communicated, received, or stored by electronic means for use in information systems.

Defines "electronic signature" as a signature in electronic form attached to or logically associated with an electronic record.

Makes technical correction to language in the definitions section regarding the purposes of the chapter.
