IL SB1543

Amends Section 17-144 of the Illinois Pension Code regarding the Chicago Teachers' Pension Board.

Adds administrators to the list of board members whose vacancies can be filled by the Board until the next annual election.

Previously the statute authorized filling vacancies for members elected from teachers or pensioners; this bill expands that authorization to include members elected from administrators.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
