Amends Section 6 of the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/6) to make a technical grammatical change regarding violations of the Act.

Corrects the language to refer to "the provisions" rather than duplicated wording in the section describing violations by public officials and contractors.

Maintains existing penalties of Class A misdemeanor for willful violations or failures to comply with the Prevailing Wage Act.

Preserves the Department of Labor's authority to investigate violations and the Attorney General's authority to prosecute cases upon complaint.
