IL SB1590

Amends the Illinois Power Agency Act to make technical changes to Section 1-92 regarding electrical load aggregation by municipalities, townships, and counties.

Adds the article "a" before "township board" and "county board" in subsection (a) for grammatical consistency throughout the provision.

Updates language governing how municipalities, townships, and counties can aggregate residential and small commercial retail electrical loads and enter into service agreements for electricity purchase.

Maintains existing provisions for opt-in and opt-out aggregation programs, referendum requirements, and disclosure obligations for aggregation participants.
