IL SB1620

Prohibits persons from wantonly wasting or destroying usable meat of harvested game mammals, game birds, or migratory game birds that have a bag limit, with exceptions for wildlife taken under Sections 2.37 or 3.22.

Defines "usable meat" as breast meat of game birds or migratory game birds and hind ham and front shoulders of game mammals.

Makes it unlawful to place, leave, dump, or abandon wildlife carcasses or parts on public rights-of-way, highways, or public or private property without owner or tenant permission.

Allows discarding of game meat determined to be unfit for human consumption.

Adds meat waste requirements to existing Section 2.33 (Prohibitions) of the Illinois Wildlife Code.
