Adds "suspicious items or persons" to school evacuation drills that schools must conduct, expanding the types of incidents that trigger evacuation protocols.

Modifies law enforcement drills to specifically require focus on "a school shooting incident" rather than a broad list of incidents including reverse evacuations, lock-downs, bomb threats, and hazardous materials.

Requires law enforcement drills to be conducted at each school building that houses school children, with on-site participation of local law enforcement by mutual agreement.

Allows law enforcement drills to occur on days and times when students are not present in the school building.

Requires local law enforcement to notify schools in a timely manner of any deficiencies noted during law enforcement drills.
