IL SB1673

Prohibits political committees of State Senators and State Representatives from accepting campaign contributions from recipients of legislative member initiatives for 5 years after initial funding disbursement, with violating contributions forfeited to the State treasury.

Requires the Governor's Office of Management and Budget to establish a single searchable public database website by July 1, 2013 listing all entities receiving Illinois funding with entity names, funding amounts for the past 10 fiscal years, itemized transaction details, locations, and Legislative District information.

Website must include data for fiscal years 2011-2013 initially, with historical data for fiscal years 2001-2010 added by July 1, 2014, and be updated within 30 days of any new funding award.

Database must allow public searches by entity name, geography, funding amounts, program sources, activity type, fiscal year, and Legislative District, with downloadable results and no reliance on external linked websites.

Director of GOMB must provide annual reports to the General Assembly by March 1 each year on website implementation, usage data, and public feedback, with reports made publicly available on the website.
