IL SB1774

Amends the Illinois Insurance Code to allow insurers to post casualty, fidelity, surety, fire, and marine insurance policies and endorsements on their websites instead of mailing or delivering them, provided they contain no personally identifiable information.

Requires posted policies and endorsements to remain easily accessible while in force, with archived copies available upon request after expiration.

Mandates that policies and endorsements be posted in a format allowing insureds to print and save them using widely available, free internet programs or applications.

Requires insurers to notify insureds at initial policy issuance and renewal of how to request paper or electronic copies of their policy and endorsements at no charge.

Requires declarations pages to clearly identify purchased policy and endorsement forms, and insurers must notify insureds of any form or endorsement changes and their right to request copies without charge.
