IL SB1780

Amends Section 212 of the Unemployment Insurance Act (820 ILCS 405/212) regarding independent contractor classification.

Makes a technical correction by removing a redundant "the" in the section text describing service performed by individuals for employing units.

Maintains the three-part test for determining independent contractor status: individual must be free from control or direction, service must be outside usual business course or performed outside all business locations, and individual must be engaged in independently established trade or profession.
