IL SB1805

Amends the Boat Registration and Safety Act to require operators of watercrafts towing a person or persons to display a bright red or orange flag on their vessel.

Flag must measure not less than 12 inches per side and be visible from all directions during towing activities.

Flag display is required from when the person being towed departs the boat until they reenter after the activity ceases.

Prohibits displaying the flag for any purpose other than during active towing operations.

Maintains existing requirements that towing motorboats have at least 3-person capacity and 2 competent persons aboard, and prohibits night towing except during authorized competitions with adequate lighting.
