• Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (815 ILCS 505/1) with a technical change to Section 1 definitions
• Changes the opening language of subsection (a) from "The term" to "The term" (technical grammatical correction)
• Maintains all existing definitions for advertisement, merchandise, person, sale, consumer, trade, commerce, and pyramid sales schemes
• Effective date follows from previous amendment P.A. 95-331 (effective 8-21-07)
