IL SB1864

Authorizes county boards in counties that have not enacted the Property Tax Extension Limitation Law to charge a reasonable administration fee to county agencies that do not receive funding from the general fund.

Defines "administration fee" as the administrative and processing costs associated with providing services to county agencies, including payroll, insurance, general accounting, audits, and pensions.

Allows the county treasurer and county clerk to collect these administration fees from eligible county agencies by ordinance.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
