SB1898 Summary

• Increases motor vehicle liability insurance minimums from $20,000 to $25,000 for bodily injury or death of one person per accident

• Increases multi-person bodily injury or death coverage from $40,000 to $50,000 per accident

• Increases property damage liability coverage from $15,000 to $20,000 per accident

• Changes apply only to insurance policies issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2015

• Takes effect January 1, 2015
