Establishes the Hepatitis C Task Force within the Department of Public Health to address hepatitis C and B prevention, screening, and patient care in Illinois.

Task Force shall develop strategies to identify unmet needs of persons with hepatitis C, improve access to treatments and therapeutic options, and enhance hepatitis C education and public awareness.

Task Force composition includes 17 members: three ex officio directors (Public Health, Veterans' Affairs, Human Services), ten public members appointed by the Director of Public Health, and four General Assembly members appointed by legislative leaders.

Public members serve without compensation and may not be reimbursed for expenses unless funds become available; Task Force must report findings and recommendations to Governor and General Assembly by December 31, 2015.

Task Force is abolished and this section repealed on January 1, 2016.
