Lowers the minimum age for crossbow use in Illinois from 62 years old to 55 years old under the Wildlife Code.

Permits crossbow use for handicapped persons who have received a Director-issued permit and can provide a physician's statement confirming severe physical disability preventing use of traditional bows.

Allows crossbow use during the period from the second Monday following Thanksgiving through the last day of the archery deer hunting season, as set annually by the Director.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
