IL SB2107

Amends the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability Act by adding Section 5.1 to establish a geographic information system on the Commission's website.

Requires the Commission, in cooperation with the Legislative Research Unit, to create the system as soon as practicable after the effective date of this 98th General Assembly amendment.

Geographic information system must provide public access to detailed information on state revenues and expenditures at different geographic scales, including by ZIP code, county, legislative district, and representative district.

System must display information on economic development projects, tax expenditures, and gross and net state revenue and expenditures by the specified geographic areas.

Mandates all state agencies, as defined in the Illinois State Auditing Act, cooperate with the Commission and Legislative Research Unit by furnishing necessary data for implementation.
