Amends the Department of Human Services Act by making a technical correction to Section 1-5 concerning the legislative purpose of the Act.

Removes a duplicated instance of the word "the" in the purpose section describing the creation and consolidation of the Department of Human Services.

Maintains the existing legislative intent to consolidate human services programs from multiple state agencies into a single department for more effective and efficient operations.
