IL SB2189

Amends Illinois Wildlife Code Section 2.19 to prohibit use of mobile blinds for taking migratory waterfowl unless the mobile blind is in a stationary position when in use.

Defines "mobile blind" as any vehicle that is camouflaged, disguised, or altered in appearance to offer concealment and is capable of carrying a person.

Permits mechanical power in mobile blinds only for movement to and from hunting locations, with no hunting attempts allowed during such movement.

Maintains existing provisions for floating blinds, which must be anchored in stationary position, and allows scull boats as an exception to floating blind restrictions.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
