• School districts must provide the State Board with evidence of instructor qualifications including name, personal identification number, birth date, and driver's license number, with updates required within 15 days of personnel changes.

• Permits school districts to charge a reasonable fee up to $50 for driver education courses, or up to $250 with school board approval following a public hearing, with fees waived for students unable to pay.

• Requires districts to post driver education contracts on their website (if one exists) and maintain records of all contracting materials available to parents and guardians upon request.
