Amends the Newborn Metabolic Screening Act (410 ILCS 240/1) with a technical correction to Section 1.

Illinois Department of Public Health must promulgate and enforce rules requiring newborn screening tests for phenylketonuria, hypothyroidism, galactosemia, and other metabolic diseases as determined necessary.

Department has authority to establish additional rules for administering the screening program, including mandatory reporting of all test results to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
