Appropriates $878,600 from the General Revenue Fund for the State Police Merit Board's ordinary and contingent expenses for fiscal year 2013-2014, including personal services ($422,500), contractual services ($376,300), and other operational costs.

Appropriates $500,000 from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for the Board's ordinary and contingent expenses.

Appropriates $4,300,000 from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for all costs associated with a cadet program for the Department of State Police.

Total appropriation across all funds is $5,678,600 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013.

Act takes effect July 1, 2013.
