• Appropriates $1,199,769,900 total for the Department of Children and Family Services for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, comprised of $716,133,900 in General Funds, $473,224,400 in Other State Funds, and $10,411,600 in Federal Funds.

• Allocates $275,345,800 from General Revenue Fund for agency-wide expenses including personal services ($217,226,300), contractual services ($27,026,700), travel ($6,768,200), and telecommunications ($4,974,900).

• Appropriates $404,636,700 from General Revenue Fund for regional grants-in-aid covering foster care ($133,076,600), institution and group home care ($139,327,900), adoption and guardianship services ($103,173,800), and family preservation services ($1,709,500).

• Allocates $416,822,800 from DCFS Children's Services Fund for similar regional services including foster care ($172,624,100), adoption and guardianship services ($84,373,300), and family-centered services ($16,489,700).

• Takes effect July 1, 2013.
