Appropriates $98,556,500 total to the Illinois Department of Agriculture for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, comprised of $20,808,300 in General Funds, $64,608,900 in Other State Funds, and $13,139,300 in Federal Funds

Funds core departmental operations including administrative services, computer services, agriculture regulation, marketing, animal industries, meat and poultry inspection, weights and measures, and environmental programs

Appropriates $10,000,000 from the Agricultural Premium Fund to deposit into the State Cooperative Extension Service Trust Fund and $4,500,000 from the Partners for Conservation Fund for agricultural resource enhancement programs

Provides funding for Illinois State Fair operations ($5,500,000), DuQuoin State Fair operations and grounds ($1,010,000 general plus $750,000 from Agricultural Premium Fund), and county fairs and horse racing programs ($4,540,300)

Act takes effect July 1, 2013
