IL SB2594

Amends the Liquor Control Act to make it a business offense with a fine up to $5,000 for owners of on-premise alcohol retailers who knowingly fail to prohibit concealed firearms on their premises or knowingly make false statements to avoid such prohibition.

Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act to prohibit licensees from carrying firearms on or into buildings, real property, and parking areas under the control of establishments that maintain a retail liquor license and allow on-premise consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Removes the requirement that more than 50% of an establishment's gross receipts from the prior 3 months must be from alcohol sales for the firearm prohibition to apply.

Establishes that violations by liquor retailers regarding firearm prohibitions are enforced under the Liquor Control Act penalties, not through the Concealed Carry Act.
