Reorganizes Section 3-7 of the Criminal Code of 2012 from lettered subsections (a-f) to numbered paragraphs (1-6) without substantive changes to existing exclusions from statute of limitations.

Adds a new paragraph (7) excluding time from the prosecution period when sexual assault evidence is collected and submitted to the Illinois State Police until analysis is completed, including laboratory tests and comparison with state and federal DNA databases.

Defines "completion of the analysis" as the finishing of laboratory tests and comparison of collected evidence with genetic marker grouping analysis maintained by the Department of State Police and the FBI's National DNA database.

Provides definitions for "sexual assault," "sexual assault evidence," and "Illinois State Police sexual assault evidence collection kit" by cross-referencing the Sexual Assault Survivors Emergency Treatment Act and the Sexual Assault Evidence Submission Act.
