IL SB2669

Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act to require property owners to affirmatively grant permission for concealed firearm carry on private real property by posting standardized signs at entrances.

Establishes that concealed firearms cannot be carried onto private property without prior owner permission, except private residences do not require signs to prohibit firearms.

Requires signs indicating permission to carry concealed firearms to be at least 4 inches by 6 inches in size with uniform design established by the Department.

Authorizes the Department to adopt rules for standardized signs and removes prior language requiring prohibition signs, instead shifting to a permission-based signage system.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
