IL SB2684

Amends the Elevator Safety and Regulation Act (225 ILCS 312/30) to make a technical change to Section 30 concerning meetings of the Elevator Safety Review Board.

Corrects grammatical or formatting issue in the opening of Section 30 regarding how the Board shall meet and organize.

Section 30 is scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2023.

Maintains existing requirements that the Board meet within 10 days after appointment of members and elect a secretary.

Preserves quarterly meeting requirements and authority to hold special meetings as needed for code regulations, appeals, variances, and other business.
