• Extends the repeal date of the Genetic Counselor Licensing Act from January 1, 2015 to January 1, 2025.

• Increases civil penalties for unlicensed genetic counseling practice from $5,000 to $10,000 per offense and increases disciplinary fines from $1,000 to $10,000.

• Adds "address of record" definition requiring applicants and licensees to notify the Department of address changes through the Department's website or direct contact.

• Allows the Secretary of Financial and Professional Regulation to petition for injunctions through either the State Attorney General or any county State's Attorney where violations occur.

• Modifies disciplinary grounds to include negligence (rather than gross negligence), fraud in licensure applications, and adds new violations including charging for services not rendered and allowing unlicensed persons to use one's license.
