• Grants State agencies and departments authority to provide the Medicaid Inspector General with access to confidential information and data (including licensure, employment, income, and exclusion records) necessary for program integrity functions and oversight.

• Amends the Medical Practice Act to allow disclosure of confidential medical reports to the Medicaid Inspector General for investigations, quality care reviews, and sanction action proceedings related to healthcare providers.
