IL SB2814

Amends the Sanitary District Act of 1917 to correct grammatical references to sanitary district corporate boundaries from singular "is" to plural "are" in appointment procedures.

Maintains board of trustees composition at 3 members for most districts and 5 members for districts containing municipalities with populations between 90,000 and 500,000.

Specifies that Fox River Water Reclamation District, Sanitary District of Decatur, and Northern Moraine Wastewater Reclamation District shall each have 5-member boards.

Requires political party balance on 5-member boards with no more than 3 members from the same party, except for certain multi-county districts where this requirement previously did not apply.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
