IL SB2863

Amends the Personnel Code (20 ILCS 415/9) to remove the Director of Central Management Services' duty to conduct research and planning regarding total manpower needs across executive branch offices, departments, agencies, boards, and commissions.

Eliminates the requirement for the Director to prescribe forms for reporting personnel information for positions covered by the Personnel Act and those exempt in whole or in part.

Takes effect upon becoming law, with an effective date of January 1, 2015.
