Amends Section 11 of the Pawnbroker Regulation Act (205 ILCS 510/11) to make a technical correction to the language regarding violations.

Changes the wording from "the provisions of this Act" to "the provisions of this Act" by removing a redundant instance of "the" in the violations section.

Maintains existing penalty structure: first offense for knowingly violating the Act is a Class C misdemeanor, subsequent offenses are Class A misdemeanor.

Preserves enhanced penalties for operating a pawnshop without a license: Class B misdemeanor for first offense and Class A misdemeanor for subsequent offenses.

Does not affect the authority of cities and villages to license, tax, regulate, suppress, and prohibit pawnbrokers under their existing powers.
