Amends Section 1-5 of the Illinois Township Code (60 ILCS 1/1-5) to make a technical correction regarding the use of terms.

Changes line 10 to correct terminology: removes redundant language and clarifies that references to "town" in other Acts mean "township" as defined in the Township Code.

Maintains existing provisions that references to "board of trustees of a town," "board of town trustees," or "board of township trustees" in other Acts mean "township board" as used in the Township Code.

Maintains existing provisions that references to "officers of a town" in other Acts mean "township officer" as used in the Township Code.
