IL SB2912

Amends the Sex Offender Registration Act to require registration reporting when a sex offender loses employment, in addition to changes in employment.

Sex offenders must report loss of employment within 3 days to the law enforcement agency where they last registered.

Expands reporting requirements to include notification of employment loss for out-of-state students and employees, also within 3 days.

Law enforcement agencies must notify the Department of State Police within 3 days of receiving reports of employment loss from registered sex offenders.
