Amends the Nurse Practice Act to modify qualifications for Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) licensure, requiring applicants to maintain current national certification rather than simply hold it.

Allows certified registered nurse anesthetists without graduate degrees to qualify for APN licensure if they completed a nurse anesthesia program before January 1, 1999 and maintain current recertification.

Creates a transitional pathway for nurse anesthetists without graduate degrees to obtain APN licensure by July 1, 2018, by submitting proof of current national certification, work history, and verification of licensure from all states where they have practiced.

Permits applicants to hold multiple advanced practice nurse specialty licenses with a single graduate degree if they obtain additional graduate education and national certifications in other specialties.

Repeals the prior rule that grandfathered existing APN license holders from new renewal requirements, making all licensees subject to current renewal standards upon license expiration.
