IL SB3010

Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act to permit licensees to carry concealed firearms onto real property and buildings at Department of Transportation rest areas.

Adds an exception to the prohibition on carrying concealed firearms in buildings under control of executive or legislative branch officers.

Maintains all other existing restrictions on firearm carry in schools, courthouses, hospitals, public transportation, universities, and other specified locations.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
